Iron Maiden - Consolation ride


One of the biggest names in the Heavy Metal mujik industry was to play in Bangy. Yes its IRON MAIDEN. These buggers have entertained me from the time I started to listen to these kind of moosik. Regular dudes playing skull crushing Metal and to top it all thers EDDIE. I was more than exited to go to this concert on the 17th of march but the belwo lines will tell you what happened during that weekend.

Couple of weeks back Adi and I got tickets for this show and we decided to ride down with a few other head bangers to Bangalore. Party thru the concert and after it and then roam about Bangy on sunday and then work in Bangy on Monday and the ride back early tuesday morning. None of this fackin ever happened. So what ekjaktly happened ??? Read on dudes...


Boss and Chief took off to Yelagiri on Friday to take care of work there and Adi backed outta the whole Iron Maiden plan saying that he has to go to Tenali. WHAT SHIT WONLEE. I said fack the concert man, Lets ride to Yelagiri even though I still wanted to go to the concert real bad. A lil later i changed my decision saying that I will go to the concert and touch Yelagiri on the way. The same day I again told Ajith that I will caman yelagiri and stay there and hell with eddie and the dudes. Called everyone i knew to sell off the tickets but everyone had already got one. FACKIN WONLEE. Went to Ajith place and got his Machismo back home and jumped into bed. The alarm rang at 4 on saturday morning


Woke up at 4 and quickly packed and I was outta my house at 5.30. Reached Meridian at 5.45 so see Bra and another dude standing there with their bikes. Parked and waited for the rest. Ravi and Ajith came and so did a few others.

Started off and went to fuel up at shell. A chai later, the gang rolled out at 6.30. Me and Ajith were running in the bikes so maintained slow speeds. Ravi decided to stick with us eventhough he was the other groups sweep. Did steady speeds till Vellore and stopped at a small shop for breakfast. I decided to skip breakfast and started with the gang again. Stopped at Ambur to do some shoe shopping. Ordered a riding boot while the other fackars did lotsa shoe purchasing. From there rode down to Ponneri for the final stop. This is the main stop because of the huge alcohol purchase :P~. Had good fun climbing up the ghats and rode straight into Country Club where Naveen was waiting for us. Unloaded luggage and me, ravi and ajith took off towards our office property to meet Bala and Naren. Could see lotsa developments in the Adventure Camp that FogHorn is building. Rode back to Country club, Had an awesome lunch at Nigress and then all the boys camaned the drinking. I decided to rest my absolutely useless head and went off to sleep. Woke up at 6.30 to find noone. Ravi came in an hour later and me, ravi and prabhu went back to the Camp area to find the boys drinking on top of the 207 truck. The Sky was absolutely clear and I was thinking of coming here sometime to do some star gazing. Then Bala and Naren decided to take us on a 7KM rollercoaster ride back to the country club. FACK THIS WAS THE HIGHLIGHT OF THE NIGHT :-))))). Naren was in absolute maniac mode and he decided to make sure that our family jewels come to our mouth. Bala in front, Naren behind the wheels of the 207, Prabhu, Ranga and me on the luggage area. That 7 kms were bliss. Naren whacked the car in all directions and was drifting on every bend. Came back absolutely shocked to Nigress and had dinner on top of the 207 wonlee. GOOD FUN. Joined Naveen after this for some daaru and smokes. Mid of all this, The non-drinkers ( Me, ravi and prabhu ) decided to go down the ghats to the 9th bend to have a look. I think this was the best decision I have ever taken. The sight was breath taking man. Looking at 4 major towns from 2 kms uphill is absolute bliss. Retired at 2.30 in the night and woke up at 6.30. Got ready, Packed and went to the site. Was there till 11.30 and finally headed towards chennai. Stopped at Vellore for lunch and mech break and rode at good speeds to chennai. Reached chennai at 5 in the evening. Went straight home, dumped the luggage and changed and rode again to Uthandi for the Hash run. Finally came back home at 9.30, Had dinner and CRASHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.
